In the waning days of summer, we’re all looking for a new band to get excited about. Am I right? Enter Twin Shadow. Twin Shadow’s debut EP was released by Grizzly Bear’s own Chris Taylor via his quickly growing Terrible Records label. “Slow” is my favorite track so far and it’s available for free download here. The video’s 70s-porn look and frequent pans down the front of Lewis’s jeans earned it a NSFW tag but I don’t agree, there’s just a hint seductive 70s sleaze. If you’re as impressed with his “big talent” as the videographer heard on “Slow” is, upcoming shows in NYC include two nights at Glasslands Gallery in September and one at Le Poisson Rouge.
